crazy fathers & pink ladies
i must be crazy i must be if they say. or is crazy only mine if tattoo on my body, around my navel to make it mine but it don't fit it's much to big so many other people still in line to making it claim me as it's own it's daughter left to try
i should breath it softly forget it's near, forget i'm there freeing hands to pick it softly from their hearts their minds/out of thin air. promises know god by name and side with him when it's no longer safe to smile and walk away. they leave them all those with tragic souls and one by one the light goes out. fire-flies can't live long, sealed in a jar. cause when you look for answers to everything you know, it's just not as simply to ring them from a bell.
lies lay heavy on the hearts of girls as though they were their fathers hands/holding on to the pink lacey perfection that every man would love to know.
girls could live lightly with no hand to draw their names. take breathe easier, with no eyes to read such writing on dirty bathroom walls
