lavender love

the world made you
beautiful!
to look over the tiny ones,
with scary spots
and wicked things.
the breath of baby angels
whispered over then late at night
as you sang to them of butterflies
and rainy days in june.
but warriors can crumble
and witches don't have wings
so for now you may stop and stumble
let fairies make light as they do
some may never know your grace,
but others always knew.
