stuff like that there

the thoughts and words you have included in your journal are wonderfully reassuring. it's always nice to find someone that you have never meet, has been raise very similar to yourself. i landed on your journal in a random sort of way, and feel lucky to have stumbled in your directions. your words are familiar, and enjoyable to read. i especially liked that fact that you used the order alot in your writing. I'm a firm believer that it should be a word, because typing out a lot just seems to loose the intensity that i impart on it by combining the two words together. i've always been fond of writing poetry feeling that it gave me the right to fuse words together whenever i saw fit.

being new to your journal i felt that i needed to read back over some of your older entries, and the memories you choose to include. the first entry about receiving a bible for all of your graduations reminded me of the many that i have saved in boxes. they help to remind me of the good times with church friends, and the accomplishments i have made.

the thoughts you wrote of as you drove home with your sister from the hospital were interesting to read as well. it seems that we often find ourselves feeling alone, and lonely contemplating the many different theories we have running around in our heads. i've always been a wonderer about the great unknown that i will on day encounter, and how i will choose to face it. i'm always looking for ways to improve myself. i have the desire to better myself with each experience i face. how can we ever expect to look back at our life with pride if we can't learn to make changes for those around us, and ourselves?

a year ago this month i started my first online journal, and was shocked to receive the email reminding me of this fact just a few days ago. i was forced to go back and verify this information by reviewing the first entry i logged in my journal. it just didn't seem like a year had gone by. since that realization i have spent sometime contemplating what i can add to make it a better journal, but also what can be added to challenge me to become a better person on it's anniversary this time next year.

your diary is one of very few that i have read that did not read as a daily planner. your entries read as your thoughts on the day and the things that you experienced, not the appointments and problems that wasted the time on that day. i look forward to spending the next year making my journal reflect more of the personal side of me, and to the thoughts and dreams that i will face.

it's nice to find a stranger that seems so similar to my own life. it's reassuring to know that, "i'm not the only one."
