to-may-toe

i have a large tomato that never goes bad.
big and red,
it sits on my stove
waiting for me to fill it with goodness
that task will make it valuable.
i have yet to cook with it.
i bought it, because i had to have it.
it's to small,
nothing more then an attractive
irritation.

find to fill
grasp and gain
objects that i constantly obtain
