wide eyed

wide eyed, dish like a saucer,
we see each other for the things we assume.
neither accepting what it is that we are giving,
we can not decide what it is that we need.
mind on the east, mind on the west
we see the difference of our meeting
as the one commonality that our time contains.

that i leave your table.

sun does come up rising, evaporates into the shores
i will begin
the end of it all.
hear the moan of the street
fell the death on my feet
wide eyed,
so i shall see
