Words from a tree
This is not my poem, but it is breath taking. Written by the man who never stops complaining about how much time I spend writing, the one I call my Tree. I was so proud of him writing I had to show it off.
~~~ i want to gather you under the night sky and trace the constellations down your skin with my lips they came at love awkwardly, unfettered or hindered by any knowledge or the expectations that that it brings i want to cover your eyes with kisses your thighs with kisses with your knees upon my shoulders i must apologize for my tears as they fall upon your breast it seems that I have inadvertently placed them there from here a mere thousand dreams away to far to see with my eyes open still in my arms with my eyes closed i envy him for this misappropriation of memories memories that rightly should have been planted with me such heavy handed dismissing words from one with such light uplifting hands/fingers such stones upon my ears from one with such lights in your eyes
